DeepReading Group
Z-Seis Crosswell Seismic Imaging is integrated with several other related technologies as part of Schlumberger’s DeepReading Group. This group was created by Schlumberger to accomplish three key objectives, all relating to providing a better, more comprehensive understanding of the reservoir. These objectives include:
- The development of new tools to better image the interwell space.
- The effective integration of various technologies to fill the gap between well scale and basin scale vertical resolution...providing true reservoir scale information.
- The ability to monitor fluid fronts on a more accurate, high resolution basis.
Crosswell Seismic Imaging, designated as DeepLook - CS, is integrated with other related disciplines in the DeepReading Group, which currently includes Crosswell Electromagnetic technology (DeepLook- EM) and Microseismic technology. Together, these DeepReading technologies will be able to image fluid distribution and reservoir structure at an unparalleled resolution.
