Crosswell Seismic Imaging can provide the detail to both design an ideal system unique to each reservoir and to monitor the real-time effects of ongoing EOR activities on a time lapse basis. Based on the information generated by Crosswell Seismic Imaging, the operator can accurately assess and troubleshoot EOR processes like CO2 or miscible floods, all with heretofore unmatched reservoir detail.
Crosswell Seismic’s high-resolution imaging, coupled with seismic data referenced in depth, not time, allows easy computation of differences between repeat surveys. In fact, this technology will allow for resolution of velocity changes as small as 1% to 2%, creating a detailed pattern of the flow within a reservoir.
